Location

The gallery is located in the St. Patrick’s Building, at the north end of the campus. St. Patrick’s is labelled “SP” on the online campus map.

Directions to the Gallery

By car:

Take Bronson Avenue to the Sunnyside Avenue entrance to the campus. Turn right toward Campus Avenue. Cross the bridge over the O-Train tracks. At the stop sign, drive straight ahead into the “Pay and Display” visitors’ section of Lot 6, labeled “P6” on the online campus map.

By bus:

OC Transpo routes #4 and #7 both enter the campus year-round. OC Transpo route #117 enters the campus during the academic year only. The bus stop closest to the Gallery, number 6612, is located along the west side of Campus Avenue, just before the Residence Commons building.

By O-Train:

The O-Train provides service to Carleton from the transit stations at Bayview (Lebreton Flats) and Greenboro (South Keys) with stops at Carling and Confederation.

Parking

Paid parking is available daily in the "Pay and Display" visitors’ section at the front of Lot 6, labelled “P6” on the online campus map.

Please note that as of 2 July 2011, parking is no longer free on Saturday and Sunday. The cost for parking in any parking area on campus on Saturday or Sunday will be a $2.00 flat fee for the entire day (7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.).

Discount parking information for exhibition openings:

Please take advantage of our special $4.00 parking rate. You must purchase a hangtag from CUAG for your car’s rear-view mirror.

First, purchase a hangtag:

4:45–6:00 p.m.: Drive to the roundabout in front of the tunnel entrance near Leeds House residence, labelled “LE” on the online campus map. CUAG staff will be standing just inside the tunnel entrance.

After 6:00 p.m.: Please come to the Gallery to purchase a hangtag.

Next, find a parking spot in the “Pay and Display” visitors’ section of Lot 6, labelled “P6” on the online campus map.

If this lot is full, you can park in the larger “back” section of Lot 6, labelled “P6” on the online campus map. The entry gates are always left up.
