Carleton University Art Gallery CUAG

Curator of Inuit Art

Each summer, CUAG offers one 12-16 week curatorial position to a qualified undergraduate or graduate art history student. The curator is responsible for preparing one or two small exhibitions of Inuit art from CUAG’s permanent collection for display during the subsequent academic year. The curator may also work on other collection-based activities such as research, writing, and cataloguing.

Candidates who specialize in or have studied Inuit art are preferred; however, CUAG is open to hiring bright and motivated non-specialists. Interested students should send a covering letter and resumé to the gallery’s director or curator by 19 April 2010.
